Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient code deployments.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.
  • Implement best practices for security, data protection, and compliance across our infrastructure.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to optimize the software development lifecycle and streamline workflows.
  • Set up automated alerts, backups, and disaster recovery processes to maintain system resilience.
  • Assist in performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning for our cloud resources.
  • Document DevOps processes, tools, and system configurations for team knowledge sharing.
  • Continuously explore and implement new technologies to improve system efficiency and scalability.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, System Administrator, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or Chef).
  • Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Solid scripting skills with languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an early-stage startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
  • Knowledge of database management (SQL/NoSQL) and caching strategies (Redis, Memcached).
  • Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
  • Certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
