About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented SIU Senior Investigator to join our Special Investigations Unit (SIU). In this fully remote position, you will be responsible for detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent activities while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your expertise will play a critical role in protecting company assets and maintaining the integrity of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations of suspected fraud, waste, or abuse across various cases.
• Gather, analyze, and document evidence, including interviews, records, and reports.
• Prepare detailed investigative summaries and present findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies, such as law enforcement or regulatory bodies.
• Stay current with laws, regulations, and industry trends related to fraud detection and prevention.
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate future risks and enhance investigative processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in SIU investigations, fraud detection, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory guidelines, including CMS, HIPAA, and state-specific requirements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in investigative tools, databases, and reporting software.
• Certification as a CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) or similar credential is preferred.
